Environmental Objectives

Aligned with our Environmental Policy, Waris Lighting has defined the following objectives:

• Achieve ISO 14001:2015 certification by [insert relevant year for lighting industry
• Reduce production material waste (e.g., cut-off metals, glass, acrylic) to below 3% monthly
• Recycle at least 50% of non-hazardous production byproducts
• Eliminate single-use plastic packaging in all standard lighting products (Phase 1), and minimize plastic use in shipment packaging (Phase 2), with monthly tracking
• Source 100% FSC-certified paper and cardboard materials for packaging and documentation
• Establish a take-back or recycling program for obsolete or decommissioned lighting fixtures by 2026

All objectives will be reviewed annually to assess progress and set new targets.
